Potty training (finally)!

Well, last weekend Graham finally showed some interest in using the potty.  So as you can guess, we jumped all over that!  He did go in the potty, and so we showered him with rewards (a new Disney Cars toy, lollipops, etc.) to keep it rolling.

We’re going to make a chart that we can use to track his progress; we want him to be able to see that he’ll get more rewards if he goes in the potty a certain number of times.

So Graham is still a little unsure about the potty; he is happy to sit on the little potty we have, but he has been holding it for a long, long time each day.  We’re worried he’ll contract a bladder infection if he keeps it up!  He’s very reluctant to `let it go`, but then when he finally does he’s very proud and happy.  So it’s just a matter of practicing so that it is no big deal…
