Poor Graham
Graham has had a very bad cold this week, that he picked up from school. He’s been very sniffly and stuffy, and generally a very sad little guy. He’s been lying low and watching a lot of movies during the day while he recovers. Some days he has not really napped well, and so by the time bedtime comes around, he’s wasted!
Last night we were wrapping up dinner, and Graham was so tired he fell asleep at the table! Click the small pictures to see a larger size.

Last weekend, Graham and I watched what would end up being the last Redskins game of the season. I just got this video of Graham in his Santana Moss jersey busting a Heisman move today. Check it out, or look at some of Graham’s other videos!

Baby Reid enjoyed his first bath the other day. His little umbilical cord thingy finally fell off, so we were able to put him in a bath seat in the tub. Graham helped give little brother a bath, and of course we got some fun pictures.
Reid is now up to 9 and a half pounds. He’s doing a great job of nursing and sleeping. Especially compared to Graham, Reid is a much more laid back baby. Even Mommy and Daddy are getting some sleep!

Those of you who know us well know that we’ve always had a tough time getting Graham to eat anything other than chicken nuggets, grilled cheese, peanut butter sandwiches, and quesadilla.
So we’ve been working hard at getting him to try new things, but it isn’t going that well. He’s hesitant to try anything new although he has tried (and appears to be okay with) carrots, noodles, cucumber, and peas. Thank goodness he’s ingested a vegetable or two!
Anyhow, the other night we were having roast beef and fingerling potatoes. Kristi chopped up a few tiny slices of potato for Graham to try. We told him it was just like a french fry, etc. to get him to take a bite. Of course we teased him with the promise of dessert, too — a powerful option. He finally did it after a great deal of cajoling…
…And proceeded to gag on it. Now this is nothing new; he’s done it before. But this time, his eyes started watering and he barfed his entire dinner out on himself and Kristi while I was holding Reid. And of course he started crying, the barf started coming out of his nose, and his booster seat and the floor was a mess.
We finally got him calmed down and stripped down in the kitchen. As I was cleaning him up and wiping puke and food chunks from him, he said (with his mind obviously on some kind of dessert), `Daddy, I liked it!`
